About Your Certification

  • What is a Certified New Home Co-Broker?

    A Certified New Home Co-Broker is a licensed real estate agent who hase completed the certificaion course and passed the exam with a score of 80 or higher.

  • Why do you call it 'co-broker if the agent is not a broker?

    Home builders use a version of co-broker. "We pay x% co-broker fee." "Do you co-broke?" The commission is paid to your broker, just like resales and the broker pays you.

  • How do I market my certification?

    Lots of ways! Add the NHCB letters behind your name, with your broker's permission. Take a photo of your certificate for your cell phone. Show it often to onsite agents and your resale shoppers, about a third of whom will consider a new home.
